benzii makes club music that hits you in the feels while your ass keeps shaking. The 23-year-old Berliner writes, produces, DJs and builds visual worlds, smashing her dance music and indiepop roots into something new that still tastes like nostalgia.
Working with underground OGs like DJmegan23, Ayegy and techno legend Paul Seul, benzii shows internet music can be deep without taking itself too seriously. Her DJ sets are a blown kiss to the Myspace era, mixing trap, EDM and pop into one chaotic vibe. Her latest EP spirallore (autumn 2024) captures that shaky twenties feeling of sweaty first loves, heartbreak and outgrowing everything, wrapped in new wave and indie sleaze with techno pop edges. The remix EP spirallore +++ (spring 2025) takes it further with DJmegan23 turning « riding it » into a 2000s ringtone banger, plus reworks from Paul Seul, Ayegy, Pearling, sparr00w and UHD. On top there’s her whole aesthetic universe: a mix of chronically online delirium, Tumblr2016 flashbacks and weirdly sexy brutalism, that she molds mainly by herself. With four EPs and tours across Europe, she’s carved out her own corner in Berlin’s leftfield underground. No compromises, just #benziicore.

En collaborant avec des figures de l’underground telles que DJmegan23, Ayegy ou encore la légende techno Paul Seul, benzii prouve que la musique née d’internet peut être profonde sans pour autant se prendre au sérieux. Ses DJ sets sont un clin d’œil à l’ère Myspace, mélangeant trap, EDM et pop dans une ambiance chaotique. Son dernier EP spirallore (automne 2024) capture cette sensation de vingtaine vacillante, faite de premiers amours moites, de cœurs brisés et du besoin de tout dépasser, le tout enveloppé de new wave et d’indie sleaze aux accents techno pop.
L’EP de remixes spirallore +++ sorti au printemps 2025, va encore plus loin : DJmegan23 transforme « riding it » en un tube rappelant les sonneries téléphoniques des années 2000, et les autres titres sont signés Paul Seul, Ayegy, Pearling, sparr00w et UHD.
Avec quatre EPs et des tournées à travers l’Europe, elle s’est taillée une place à part dans l’underground berlinois. Aucun compromis, juste #benziicore.
