Lyele is a composer and producer from Marseille, whose musical career is marked by a subtle fusion of diverse influences, notably African American and Caribbean music. Lyele began his musical career as part of a duo, with no real ambition other than to kill time. He then launched his solo career, embarking on a true musical exploration, working alongside creators such as Leknifrug. His move to Paris was a major turning point. It was there that he first came into contact with Universal Music and crossed paths with rapper S.teban, marking the beginning of his collaborations with major artists. He then immersed himself in the local Marseille scene, working on several projects, including “Mode Sport.” Lyele forged strong ties with several local artists, which led him to sign a co-release deal with Universal and Beat Bounce, propelling his career to another level.

His meeting with rapper La Fève and artistic director Julien Thollard marked a turning point for Lyele. Impressed by the producer’s unique style, La Fève invited him to contribute significantly to his ERRR project, where Lyele became one of the pillars of production alongside composer Kosei. The critical and public success of ERRR prompted him to return to Paris. Lyele then worked on La Fève’s entire mixtape “24,” which caused a sensation on the French music scene.
Recognizing Lyele’s talent, singer Tiakola organized a seminar bringing together renowned figures such as Tarik Azzouz (producer for Jay Z, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross) and Ikaz Boi (producer for Laylow, Hamza, 13 Block). Together, they worked on Tiakola’s entire project, meeting at several creative seminars in Berlin and Brussels, which gave rise to the surprise project “X.” This fruitful collaboration led to the success of the mixtape BDLM, where the track produced by Lyele, “Pona Nini,” became a real hit, acclaimed by both the public and critics alike. The track stands out as one of the project’s flagship tracks.

After accumulating prestigious experiences and collaborations, Lyele now feels ready to take a new step forward. Eager to offer a more personal body of work, he has teamed up with the Walone label, which fully supports his vision. This new project aims to renew the image of composers, who are often overlooked, by highlighting a bold artistic approach that is both creative and coherent.

Lyele est un compositeur et producteur originaire de Marseille, dont le parcours musical est marqué par une fusion subtile d’influences diverses notamment de musique afro américaine et caribéenne. Lyele débute sa carrière musicale en duo, sans véritable ambition autre que de tuer le temps. Puis il se lance en solo, initiant une véritable exploration musicale en travaillant notamment aux cotés de créateurs comme Leknifrug. Son installation à Paris est un tournant majeur. C’est là qu’il entre pour la première fois en contact avec Universal Music et croise le chemin du rappeur S.teban, marquant ainsi le début de ses collaborations avec des artistes majeurs.
